About Kanipakam
Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple is built around a swayambhu — self-manifested — idol, which by tradition was found in a well by three brothers digging for water. The idol is said to have grown in size over the centuries.
The temple stands beside the Bahuda river and is one of the most visited Ganesha temples in Andhra Pradesh, particularly during Vinayaka Chaturthi.
